Dr Rebecca Sadler (nee Ingledew) is a highly experienced general dentist with a special interest in restorative and implant dentistry. She qualified with top of her year with Honours in 1996 from Newcastle and was awarded the BDA prize. Since graduation she has continued to pursue further training and increase her knowledge and skills. Her commitment to the profession is shown by the numerous national and international courses she has attended Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant dentistry throughout the UK, Europe and USA. She is interested in Digital dentistry and the progress made with materials and cutting edge techniques.
Living in Henley with her husband and 2 young children she has worked in the Home counties since 1997. In 2006 she set up the dental practice in Maidenhead which was the first practice acquired by the Portman group. She joined Courtrai House in Henley on Thames in 2009. She has a very loyal following of patients and several of her patients have moved away and still travel to her for their dental care – her furthest patient lives in Sydney Australia! A mother of two she balances home life and a career. She offers flexible hours to accommodate appointments outside work and hours. A keen competitive rower she can often be found on the river and more recently swimming in it, or running alongside it.

Dr Mark Hamburger is a registered Specialist Prosthodontist and an expert in implant dentistry. He qualified with a B.D.S from the University of Witwatersrand in 1984 and was awarded the prestigious B.Ch.D. (Hons) from the University of Pretoria in 1985. He has since built up an enormous experience as a clinician, as a lecturer and as a published author. Regarded as a leader in the field of prosthodontics he has been instrumental in the design and production of computer guided implantology. Following his position as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand Department of Prosthodontics Mark was invited to be the Head of implantology at the dental division of Boots the chemist.
Mark is currently the clinical director of Portman Healthcare and senior lecturer at the Portman Academy. Dr Hamburger has previously lectured at the following institutions: New York University Post Graduate Implantology Program, University of Ann Arbor, Michigan post graduate periodontics program, University of Loiusianna, New Orleans, Bethesda Naval Post Graduate Dentistry Program, Bethesda Hospital, Washington D.C..
Paul Cattell is doubly qualified as both a Dentist and a Dental Technician, and has practiced General Dentistry since 1998. With award-winning talent (he has won prizes in Conservative Dentistry and Dental Technology), Paul enjoys delivering good quality work which makes patients happy. He has a special interest in Restorative Dentistry (crown and bridge work) and always keeps up to date in his field by regular reading and course attendance.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys shooting (clay pigeons, not people).
Since qualifying at Birmingham in 2009 Karen has worked in private practices in York and Buckinghamshire. Karen has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, including restoring implants.In her spare time she like to keep active.
Karen enjoy yoga and Pilates and completed her first half marathon in Windsor last year.

Melanie has been in practice for over 20 years having worked in both mixed and private environments, covering the full range of clinical procedures. With a relaxed and personable manner, Melanie has a history of excellent relationships with patients, bringing a calm, patient-oriented approach that is reflected in exceptional satisfaction and retention levels.
Amina graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2004. Afterwards she held various posts in hospital, where she gained experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Special needs and Children’s Dentistry. She became a specialist Orthodontist after completing a three years Masters in Orthodontics at Kings College Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital. She then undertook a further 2 years training, at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ and Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital in Brighton, to become a consultant.
In addition to working in private practice, she also works as an NHS consultant in orthodontic in East Surrey Hospital. She has always enjoyed working with children and supporting them and their families through treatment, which is way she chose Orthodontics as a speciality. She has a vast experience treating nervous and anxious children, and also different types of braces. She believes it is very important to focus on what the patient hopes to achieve with braces. Apart from making sure that patients are pleased with their smile when the braces ‘come off’, she strives to ensure that her patients’ journey through treatment is as comfortable as possible.
Jackie Bridge qualified from Eastmann in 1997 and has been in private practice since qualifying. Jackie has been with Portman Healthcare at both Maidenhead and Henley since 2007 and particularly enjoys working with nervous patients.
She is married with two daughters and in her spare time enjoys baking and cake decorating.
Louisa started her dental career as a dental nurse and gained her nursing qualification in 2004 from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. She then went on to study Dental Hygiene at the University of Birmingham and qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2008.She worked as a Dental Hygienist in Birmingham. Louisa has a very friendly, caring and gentle chair side approach and we are very privileged to have her at Courtrai House. Louisa is a member of the General Dental Council and the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
In her free time she enjoys yoga and the outdoors.
